Hey,

I haven't written in this thing in over two years. I wonder who still uses their accounts.
So, finals are coming up and I have two and a half days to prepare for my Anthro exam on Wednesday. Will Jenny be able to read everything she needs to? xP

Hm, life has finally started to settle down. It isn't as hectic or tumultuous as it has been for the last few months. Everything is calming down and I'm feeling more at peace. Isn't it strange how you realize one day that you don't really care anymore about something that caused you so much pain in the past? It's a beautiful feeling.

Lately I've been thinking about my friends and how much I love them. Here's a tribute to my best:

Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.

In my heart's sequestered chambers lies truths stripped of poet's gloss. Words alone are vain and vacant and my heart is mute. In response to aching silence memory summons halfheard voices, and my soul finds primal eloquence and wraps me in song.

If you would comfort me, sing me a lullaby. If you would win my heart, sing me a love song. If you would mourn me and bring me to God, sing me a requiem, sing me to heaven. Touch in me all love and passion, pain and pleasure; touch me in grief and comfort. Sing me a lullaby, a love song, a requiem. Love me, comfort me, bring me to God: sing me a love song, sing me to heaven
